About Us

Seapaddler is written and managed by two keen and enthusiastic (but now also ageing) paddlers based in Jersey in the Channel Islands, U.K. - between us we have over 60 years of active paddling.

Kevin, is a very experienced seapaddler and is a BCU Level 5 coach (sea). He has paddled and coached around the globe, leading expeditions into many wilderness areas. His kayaking library is particularly extensive.

Chris is a BCU Level 4 coach (sea), who enjoys coaching and recreational paddling, as it allows him to unwind, forget about work and relax.

We are really keen for any feedback. We want this website to be interactive and to enable likeminded people to communicate, give advice, discuss, and perhaps even disagree. We hope that this site will allow all paddlers to develop their paddling skills and knowledge about our fantastic sport.
