Attachment Points

This weeks handy hint is another contribution from Alan Blampied. We often need to attach ropes or bungy cords to our kayaks, for example when a short tow is required or as a paddle park. It is often difficult though to attach the clips to the deck lines because the lines are tight or because the paddler's hands are too cold. Alan has placed a couple of plastic hoops, made from plastic ties, on his deck lines so that it is much easier to attach clips as and when required. It clearly meets the requirements of a useful handy hint, simple, cheap and effective.

Deck ring made from a plastic tie obtainable from all good DIY stores
