Camera Case

This handy hint was spotted on a recent paddle when we met another group of paddlers from Brittany. Unfortunately I didn't get the paddler's name but he did give me permission to take this photo. A really simple but useful idea, the camera case has been made from for the sleeve or lower leg section of an old wet suit. The ends of the case are secured with velcro strips and the black lace feeds through the narrow end of the sleeve so that it can be hung around the neck when paddling. The small cylinder, which is attached with electrical insulation tape is a discarded 35mm film container and contains a small piece of pac towel (very absorbent) which can be used to dry the lens before taking a photograph.

Two handy hints in one!

Please note that the camera is a Canon waterproof camera - cheap and very good value for money.
