Double sided tape

It is always surprising how often little modifications need to be made to the kayak or repairs to items of equipment. There are plenty of options for making the repairs but one of the simplest and quickest is through the use of double-sided tape. Alan Blampied needed to make some quick additions to the padding in his kayak before heading out on the water on Boxing Day. Within a couple of minutes the modifications were complete and he was ready to go in a snuggly fitting kayak. Alan’s advice therefore, is to keep some tape handy in the car for use prior to going on the water and always carry some additional tape in your emergency repair kit which goes in the kayak.
