These articles are concerned with the technical aspects of sea kayaking. Knowledge of tidal flows, navigation, weather etc all help to ensure that our time on the water is as safe as possible. Many of the topics are covered in books or can be read about on web sites such as this one, but these are no substitutions for time spent on the water in the company of other paddlers developing an awareness for the environment in which we operate.

All of the above photographs were taken in one year within a few miles of where we live, clearly illustrating the need for education. Articles and suggestions for this category would be greatly appreciated.
