Welcome to Sea Kayak Scotland web site we hope
you find it useful.
We are registered with the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. License details can be checked here (AALA)
We are based on the Isle
of Seil near Oban which
has a bridge to the mainland, good rail and bus links to the major cities of
Scotland and a sea plane service to the centre of Glasgow.
We have been established for over 10years, live here and employ local instructors
this gives us an intimate knowledge of the area. Seil is a small island in the
heart of this world class sea kayaking destination
With simple access to the water and using the breath taking scenery of the West Coast of Scotland we will take you on a journey, paddling in areas of outstanding natural beauty. The Firth of Lorne where we are based is a European Special Area of Conservation. The area is also an area of National Scenic Beauty.
Using the ocean, sheltered parts of the sea or sea lochs we will tailor our sessions to your ability to ensure that you experience sea kayaking at its best.
Whether you are a complete beginner
or a competent paddler or aiming for qualifications we can guarantee an unforgettable
experience. From instruction, guided trips, progression courses, hire or outfitting
we can give you something to remember.
Sea Kayak Scotland operates
courses throughout the year and you will find us out on the water just about
everyday. The local knowledge of our instructors is second to none, and not
just in kayaking. They are passionate about the area in which they live and
take great delight in making sure that you experience the wildlife and environment
at its best.

As you can see sea paddling
locations don't get much better. Being at the head of an archipelago of islands
gives us an enormous variety of venues depending on weather and what you want.
