Some of you will have come across Stand Up paddling, the photograph above shows a session at the Jersey Symposium in May this year. One of a number of workshops which proved to be very popular as it adds a whole new dimension to your paddling experience.

Some people have taken the use of these boards to a whole new level, as shown by the recent crossing from Spain to Morocco by 3 stand up paddlers. The whole story is available to read here.

If you do get the opportunity to try out these boards, it is not as easy as it looks but it is great fun and could enhance your paddling skills.
