There is a never ending variety of sea kayaks available to the paddler, and a number which are no longer produced and are in effect historical artifacts. In the early 1970's the different types of sea kayak for sale could probably be counted on the fingers of one hand, whereas exactly how many commercially built kayaks are available today is anybody's guess. The aim of this section of the web site is to document as wide a variety of craft as possible. If you are able to fill in any gaps or feel that you have better photographs please send them in.
